Nursery (Beginning Class)
A. General
- Advertisement in the Newspaper (National and Local).
- Registration Form and prospectus given.
- Screening of Forms.
- Interaction / Interview of child.
- Plan letter, Assessment sheet enclosed.
- Interaction of Parents with Principal and verification of documents (Annexure 12).
- List of selected children to be put up on Notice Board and on School Website.
- Personal letter of offer of Admission is to be given to Parents / Guardian.
B. Admission Formalities
- Instructions and Rules to be given to parents (Annexure 13).
- Mode of Payment (Annexure 14).
- Filling up of additional forms (Medical, transport, etc. + ID Form).
- Issue of Admission Slip with Class/Section/Reporting date (Annexure 15).
D. Admission and Withdrawal Register
It is a very important official document. There can be no overwriting, deletion, erasing or tearing of pages. It is a record with numbered pages and prescribed information (used for both admission and withdrawal).
Withdrawal Procedure
- The Parents need to apply for withdrawal giving at least 3 months notice in advance in writing. In case of failure to do so, 3 months fee is chargeable.
- For refund of caution money, the receipt of Deposit along with the duly prescribed format shall be submitted. It will be paid provided all dues are cleared. The clearance form has to be cleared.
- Transfer Certificate is to be issued only on dues being cleared (Enclosed Annex. 18).
- Exit Interview: It is important for a School to have exit Interviews with parents who wish to withdraw their wards from School. This feedback is very important to ensure the high standards of the School.
Senior Classes
- Registration as per vacancy.
- Application along with last two years Report Card. For XI, Pre-Board result to be the basis.
- Admission test.
- Interview of child and parents with Principal.
- List of selected students and admission procedure as already outlined for Nursery.
- For all admissions kindly refer to RTE Act of the State.
- Please note that admission to Class X and Class XII are subject to CBSE rules (refer to www.cbse.nic.in).
- A subject choice from the class XI to be made as per choices of subjects offered by the School (A sample enclosed).
Joining Instructions
The new parents are very enthusiastic and eager for their children's schooling. It is advisable to give joining instructions to the parents which are elucid and comprehensive.
Dossier to be maintained
for each child till the child leaves or passes out. This dossier contains all information about the child, academic and otherwise for the entire school life (Details given under Student Record Maintenance).
